Black Kettle Farm is a woman owned, MOFGA/USDA Certified Organic mixed vegetable and herb farm. CSA is the heart and soul of the farm, and after over a decade in business, it is the true reflection of our core values and intentions, which are to put healthy, safe, beautiful food on the tables and in communities of folks that we know and love, to nurture and support the land and ecosystem that feeds us, and to generate positivity and enthusiasm for local agriculture, small farms and high-quality food in Maine.

At Black Kettle Farm, we grow over 30 different crops that shift over the course of the season. CSA members will have the opportunity try them all! From Arugula to Zucchini, and Lettuce to Sweet Potatoes, and Onions to Carrots, the CSA shares and our daily harvests will ensure that members enjoy the freshest produce around. The weekly rhythm of CSA shares and pick-ups, the subtle shifts in the produce to reflect the weather and length of day, the new found ability to eat vegetables at every single meal, and the pride and peace of mind in actually knowing the people who grow your food, all raise the level of consciousness surrounding how and what we eat, and our participation in the local food system. CSA Essential Details

• 19 weeks of mixed organic vegetables and herbs, starting in mid June and wrapping up in mid October.

• Two Share Sizes! Full shares are $575 or Half shares are $375.

• Convenient payment plans available, all shares must be paid in full by August 1st.

• SNAP/EBT is accepted as payment! Check in about major savings with Maine Harvest Bucks!

• Weekly Pick-Ups in Lyman, Biddeford, Portland, and Kittery. There is a one time $25 delivery fee for all members who do not pick up on the farm.

• Add on Options for the season: Organic Mushroom Share and Local Cheese Share.

• All CSA members receive a weekly newsletter with farm info, useful recipes and veggie tips.
